Now hiring · entry-level field roles

Get paid to learn the trade.

Entry-level field roles in the Raleigh Triangle. No experience required — we train you in low-voltage cabling, smart-home, and security camera work. Show up willing, work hard, and you can build a career here.

Who we are / 01

A small Triangle outfit that promotes from within.

CRIT is owned and operated by Ryan Cooke and Juan Clark. We are a Raleigh low-voltage shop, and we believe the only way to grow the business is to grow the people in it.

That means we hire for attitude and trainability, not paperwork. You do not need a certificate, a degree, or prior trade experience to walk in. You need to want to learn, be willing to show up on time, and be okay getting your hands dirty in a ceiling space. We will teach you the rest.

The reason we run hiring this way: every tech we bring on is someone we are personally invested in. Ryan or Juan trains you. Ryan or Juan answers your questions on the job. There is no HR layer between you and the owners — if you have a problem, you walk into the office and tell us. We will fix it.

The pay / 02

Paid to learn, raises tied to skill.

We are upfront about pay. You start at the training rate while you learn the basics. As you build skill and take on more responsibility, your wage grows. If you stick with us and put in the work, the ceiling is real.

Starting rate
$15/hr
Training wage from day one. No prior experience required — we teach you the trade on real jobs.
Where it grows to
$35/hr
Ceiling for an experienced lead tech running jobs independently. The path from start to top is years of real work — not a promise on day one.
What you'll learn / 03

Real work, real skills.

You learn on actual customer jobs, not in a classroom. Here is what the work covers across a typical first year.

Structured Cabling

Pulling and terminating Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A. Patch panels, jacks, labeling, cable management.

Smart-Home & IoT

Installing connected devices, hubs, controllers. Wiring backbones for cameras, audio, and IoT gear in residential builds.

IP Cameras & NVR

Mounting cameras, running PoE drops, setting up NVR recorders with motion zones, alerts, and remote viewing.

New-Construction Low Voltage

Pre-wire work before the drywall goes up. Reading plans, working alongside other trades, coordinating with GCs.

On-Site Troubleshooting

Tracing existing cable plants, diagnosing what is broken, fixing it without breaking what works.

Customer Communication

Showing up clean, explaining the work in plain English, leaving a job site better than you found it. This is half the job.

Who fits / 04

What we look for.

Ready

Send us your info.

It takes about two minutes. Name, email, phone, whether you can get to job sites, and anything else you want us to know. Ryan or Juan reviews every submission personally.
